Park Forest Man Arrested in Bourbonnais Burglary, Gun Charges

BOURBONNAIS, IL – A Park Forest man was arrested Saturday afternoon on alleged Burglary charges in Bourbonnais.

According to reports, it happened early Saturday morning just after 3 a.m. when officers arrived at an undisclosed business. Christopher M. Blowers, a 24-year-old male resident of Park Forest, found himself in police custody following reports of a burglary.

Details behind the incident have yet to be released.

Blowers was arrested by Bourbonnais Police and charged with illegal possession of ammunition, possession of a firearm with a revoked FOID (Firearm Owner’s Identification), aggravated unlawful use of a loaded vehicle firearm, and a theft by deception involving an amount ranging from $500 to $10,000.

He’s now being held at the Jerome Combs Detention Center in Kankakee awaiting a bond hearing.
