According to the NWS, the snow squall was detected around 2:12 p.m. CST along a line stretching from seven miles east of Masterson to 19 miles northwest of Codman. The storm is moving south at 20 mph and brings intense bursts of heavy snow, blowing snow, and wind gusts over 35 mph. Visibility is expected to drop to less than one-quarter mile, creating dangerous travel conditions.

Areas including Pampa, Borger, Fritch, Skellytown, Sanford, Codman, and Lake Meredith are likely to be impacted.
