Palos Park, IL – Police are actively searching for a suspect involved in the theft of a vehicle from West Chicago, IL. The incident has resulted in a significant police presence in the area. Officers from the Palos Park Police Department (PPPD), along with partner agencies, are combing the wooded area northwest of 123rd Street and Route 45.

According to the PPPD, the vehicle was reported stolen earlier today. The suspect, described as a white male with short hair, wearing black shorts and gray shoes, fled on foot into the wooded area west of Route 45 after being involved in an auto accident.

Residents in the vicinity are advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police. The PPPD has assured the public that all necessary measures are being taken to apprehend the suspect and ensure community safety.
