According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), the shooting happened Thursday, September 18, 2025, around 2:45 a.m. in the area of 109 NW 8th Street in unincorporated Belle Glade, located in western Palm Beach County near the Lake Okeechobee region.

Investigators say the victim, Henry Boyd, was inside a white Chevy Traverse when he was shot. Boyd was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives have not released information about possible suspects, motives, or whether the shooting was targeted.
