Palm Beach County, FL – Detectives have cleared a major retail theft investigation that spanned multiple counties and involved more than $31,000 in stolen merchandise, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say the case began in September after Dollar General stores reported a series of large-scale thefts targeting household items — particularly laundry detergent. Detectives identified a suspect vehicle and later confirmed the occupants as Caleb R. Frederick and Ne’osha Taylor, both of West Palm Beach.
Due to the scale and coordination of the thefts, the Statewide Prosecutor launched Operation Bonnie & Tide, focusing on organized retail theft across South Florida. Detectives linked the pair to 41 retail incidents totaling $31,840 in losses. Stolen goods included Dyson and Shark vacuums, diapers, infant formula, and bulk laundry products.
Further investigation uncovered three pawn transactions and six direct-to-consumer sales tied to the suspects. A review of financial records allegedly confirmed ongoing illicit sales. On November 21, 2025, detectives executed search and arrest warrants at the suspects’ residence.
Authorities confirmed both individuals were taken into custody, and the cases are now cleared by arrest.
