Paducah, KY – A sharp temperature drop kicks off the week across western Kentucky and southern Indiana, with brisk winds and morning wind chills plunging into the teens before a major rebound later in the week, according to the National Weather Service in Paducah.

Highs today will range from the low 40s, with wind chills of 10–15 degrees expected Monday morning. By Tuesday, temperatures will climb slightly into the upper 40s and low 50s, though wind chills will remain in the 15–20° range early in the day. A few flurries or light snow showers could develop late Sunday night into Monday, mainly across southwest Indiana, but no accumulation is expected.

Forecasters say the chilly pattern will quickly reverse midweek. Sunshine returns Wednesday and Thursday with highs reaching the mid-60s, and by Saturday, temperatures are expected to climb into the low 70s, marking a significant warm-up across the region.

Aside from a slight chance of rain Friday, conditions are expected to remain mostly dry through the week.
