Paducah, KY – Western Kentucky is starting the week on a colder note, but a quick warm-up is on the way Tuesday and Wednesday before another cold push arrives late week, according to the National Weather Service in Paducah.
Today features decreasing clouds with highs ranging from the mid-30s north to mid-40s south. Overnight lows will fall into the lower to upper 20s across the region. By Tuesday, much warmer air returns with plenty of sunshine, sending highs into the mid-40s to mid-50s—a noticeable jump from Monday’s chilly start.
Wednesday continues the mild stretch, with highs in the upper 40s to mid-50s under breezy conditions. A weak system may clip areas from southwest Indiana into the Kentucky Pennyrile, bringing a small chance of light rain or flurries, though most of the region remains dry.
Colder air then moves back in Thursday and Friday. Highs fall into the mid-30s to upper-40s, and a few isolated flurries or sprinkles are possible Thursday, especially in eastern sections. Friday brings even colder conditions with highs in the low-30s north to mid-40s south and another slight chance of flurries.
Overall, the week trends dry with a brief midweek warm-up followed by a return to winter-like chill heading into the weekend.
