Paducah, KY – Western Kentucky is in for ideal fall weather through the Columbus Day holiday weekend, as high pressure settles over the region, bringing sunshine, calm winds, and gradually warming temperatures, according to the US National Weather Service Paducah Kentucky.

Saturday will stay mostly sunny with highs between 75 and 79 degrees, offering comfortable conditions for outdoor activities and early holiday travel. Temperatures will climb a few degrees each day, reaching the upper 70s to low 80s Sunday and topping out between 77 and 84 degrees on Monday.

Forecasters say the warm pattern marks a return of early fall-like comfort after several cooler, breezy days earlier in the week. No rain is expected through at least Monday night, with light winds and clear skies continuing into early next week.

The pleasant setup makes for excellent timing for regional festivals, boating, and travel plans throughout the Ohio Valley. Drivers are still urged to watch for increased weekend traffic as travelers take advantage of the long holiday break.
