Paducah, Ky. – Light rain and a few thunderstorms will move across western Kentucky early Saturday before skies clear by afternoon, setting the stage for several days of dry weather.

According to the National Weather Service in Paducah, no significant rain is expected after today, with conditions trending warmer as the week progresses. Temperatures will stay near or slightly below normal through the weekend, but highs will climb back into the upper 80s to lower 90s by midweek.

Sunny skies are expected Sunday through Thursday, offering a much-needed stretch of dry weather for farmers, outdoor events, and travelers across the region. Drivers may see slick spots early Saturday before roads quickly dry out by midday. With temperatures on the rise next week, residents are advised to stay hydrated and limit outdoor work during the hottest part of the afternoon.

The warmup will be noticeable beginning Tuesday, with highs steadily reaching the 90s by Wednesday and Thursday. Conditions remain dry into late week, but forecasters note additional updates could be issued if heat advisories become necessary.
