Paducah, KY – The National Weather Service in Paducah says a major warmup will bring a stretch of pleasant, above-normal temperatures across western Kentucky and the surrounding region through the weekend.

Highs are expected to climb into the lower to mid-70s Friday and Saturday, with mostly sunny skies and mild nights in the upper 40s to 50s. According to the NWS, this pattern could bring near-record highs for mid-November.

Forecasters note that aside from isolated light rain chances (10–20%) Friday morning and Saturday night, dry and calm weather will dominate through the weekend. A shift arrives early next week, when a stronger system may bring showers and a few thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday, with rain chances between 30–50%.

Temperatures will remain slightly above normal even after the front moves through, keeping the region mild for the middle of November.

Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the sunny, comfortable weather before more unsettled conditions return early next week.
