Paducah, KY – Paducah residents should prepare for a significant rise in temperatures starting Saturday. The National Weather Service in Paducah, Kentucky, forecasts a prolonged period of high temperatures and elevated heat indices, with dry weather conditions set to persist.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday will kick off with temperatures reaching 90°F, with heat indices nearing 98°F. This trend continues into Sunday and Monday, where temperatures are expected to rise to 92°F and 93°F, respectively. The peak of the heat wave is projected for Tuesday, with temperatures soaring to 95°F and heat indices potentially reaching a sweltering 107°F.

The weather will remain dry throughout the forecast period, with humidity levels decreasing after the weekend. This reduction in humidity will make the heat slightly more tolerable, though caution is still advised due to the extreme temperatures.

Wednesday and Thursday will bring slight relief, with temperatures dropping to 86°F. However, the heat is set to return by Friday, with temperatures climbing back to 90°F.
