Seattle, Wash. – A steady spring warm-up is expected to take hold across Washington and Oregon, bringing above-normal temperatures and generally dry conditions heading into early April.

According to the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center, the 8-to-14 day outlook from Friday, March 27 through Thursday, April 2 shows a strong signal for above-normal temperatures across the Pacific Northwest, with near-normal precipitation overall.

In western Washington, including Seattle and Tacoma, daytime highs are expected to trend several degrees above seasonal averages, with mild mornings and more consistent afternoon warmth. Dry stretches could become more frequent between passing systems.

Across eastern Washington, including Spokane, warmer and drier conditions are expected to settle in more firmly, allowing temperatures to climb steadily through the period.

In Oregon, including Portland and Bend, similar warming is expected with comfortable spring temperatures building each day. Inland areas may warm more efficiently, while coastal areas remain slightly cooler but still above normal.

Precipitation is expected to remain near normal overall, though extended dry periods could develop between weaker systems.

Residents can expect a stretch of mild to warm spring weather, ideal for outdoor activity, but should remain mindful of increasing dryness in some inland areas.

This pattern is expected to continue into early April, with additional updates likely as temperature trends evolve.
