Belgium, WI – Four people were injured Saturday morning in a two-vehicle rollover crash at the intersection of Jay Road and Six Mile Road in the Town of Belgium.

According to the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 9:26 a.m. when a 2004 blue GMC Sierra traveling northbound on Six Mile Road failed to stop at a stop sign. The truck collided with a 2022 gray Dodge Ram that was traveling westbound on Jay Road. The impact caused the Dodge Ram to overturn several times before coming to rest against a garage on the northwest corner of the intersection.

Deputies said the GMC continued forward and struck an unoccupied parked vehicle before coming to a stop. The Sierra was occupied by a 45-year-old man from Fredonia and a 63-year-old passenger from Random Lake. The Dodge Ram was driven by a 66-year-old man from Belgium with a 64-year-old woman, also from Belgium, as a passenger.

All four occupants were transported to Aurora Medical Center Hospital in Grafton with what authorities described as non-life-threatening injuries. Flight for Life also responded to the crash but did not transport patients after evaluating them at the scene.

The driver of the GMC Sierra was issued a citation for failure to stop at a stop sign, according to the sheriff’s office.

Multiple agencies assisted at the crash site, including the Belgium Fire Department, Fredonia Fire Department, Random Lake Fire Department, Port Washington Fire Department, Waubeka Fire Department, Ozaukee County Emergency Management, and Flight for Life.
