Oswego Man Arrested for Road Rage Incident on I-88 in Naperville

Naperville, IL – A 66-year-old Oswego man was arrested after allegedly brandishing a handgun during a driving altercation on Naperville’s north side.

According to the Naperville Police Department, officers responded to a 9-1-1 call over the past weekend. The incident occurred on eastbound I-88, where officers found a loaded, unholstered handgun in the offending vehicle. 

The suspect was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. The Illinois State Police were notified, potentially leading to the revocation of the suspect’s Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) card and Concealed Carry License (CCL).
