Oswego, Illinois — The Village of Oswego announced today that the closure at Woolley Road would be extended. The Village expects the closure to now last through the end of the day on August 15.
The Village said that the extension of the road closure is due to delays in franchise utility scheduling. The road closed initially on June 3 and was expected to be finished by July 22.
The roadwork is making significant improvements to the Woolley Road infrastructure, the Village said. Updates on the project and a map of the detour route can be found online.
