According to the Oswego Police Department, officers were called around 5:54 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026, after an employee discovered signs of the break-in while opening the business. Responding officers found that a door had been forced open and an undisclosed amount of cash had been taken sometime between 11:30 p.m. Thursday and 5:15 a.m. Friday.

Police searched the area and canvassed nearby businesses for surveillance footage or witnesses. As of Friday, no suspect description has been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
