Oswego County, NY Crash Friday: Motorcyclist Killed in New Haven Collision

Oswego, NY – A 60-year-old Palermo man has died following a two-vehicle crash Friday evening in the Town of New Haven, according to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened around 5:31 p.m. on September 26, 2025, at the intersection of Mack Road, Pleasant Point Drive, and County Route 1. Deputies said a 2017 Harley Davidson Road Glide motorcycle was traveling west on County Route 1 when it was struck by a northbound 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 pick-up truck turning from Mack Road.

According to investigators, the truck was operated by 24-year-old Dylan Mannise of New Haven, who sustained minor injuries. The motorcycle’s operator, identified as Jerry Davis of Palermo, was transported to Oswego Hospital and later transferred to Upstate Hospital in Syracuse. He was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The Sheriff’s Office reported that Davis was the sole occupant of the motorcycle. Mannise was the only person in the truck.

Authorities said the crash remains under investigation. The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by New York State Police, New Haven Volunteer Fire Department, and McFee Ambulance.
