Oswego, IL – The Oswego Christmas Walk, an annual holiday tradition, returns to downtown Oswego on Friday, December 6, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. This festive event, presented by Servbank, invites the community to a winter wonderland of activities for all ages.
The celebration begins with the tree-lighting ceremony, followed by live ice sculpture demonstrations. Visitors can slide down a giant inflatable sled hill and browse holiday-decorated shops. Local Oswego organizations will offer crafts, games, and giveaways. Food vendors will provide sweet and savory treats throughout the evening.
Children can visit with Santa at Locked In Photography on Van Buren Street. Entertainment includes performances by school choirs, dance groups, and nonprofit organizations, as well as a Christmas tree display. Guests can warm up at the Oswego Area Chamber of Commerce with hot drinks and holiday treats.
Complimentary shuttle service will run from Oswego High School and Oswego Village Hall for easy access to the event. Additional public parking is available at the Hudson Crossing Park and Harris Street.
