Florida — Early risers in Central Florida may notice a thin blanket of fog drifting across low fields and quiet neighborhoods this morning. The air feels soft and humid, but skies will brighten quickly—setting the stage for a stretch of ideal Thanksgiving travel weather through the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service in Melbourne, Orlando will see partly sunny skies and highs near 84°F today as light southerly breezes continue. Travelers heading out on I-4, the Turnpike, or Route 528 can expect smooth driving conditions with only minor early-morning visibility issues from patchy fog. Once the sun breaks through, the afternoon turns warm, with low humidity and a light breeze.

Thanksgiving Day looks nearly perfect for outdoor gatherings or backyard football—sunny skies, a high near 72°F, and a comfortable north wind around 10 mph. Cooler, drier air begins to settle in Thursday night, bringing lows into the mid-40s—a noticeable chill by Florida standards.

Friday and Saturday stay crisp and bright, with highs in the mid-60s to low 70s, great for Black Friday shopping, holiday decorating, or local park visits. Winds remain light, and humidity will stay low—rare and refreshing for late November.

By Sunday and Monday, warmer air returns, climbing toward 80°F again, with a small chance of isolated showers as winds shift east. Beyond that, long-range models hint at a major Arctic front sweeping the U.S. from December 1–5, possibly sending cooler, drier air deep into the Southeast.

For now, though, Central Florida keeps its holiday sunshine streak, offering perfect conditions for travelers and locals alike.

Thursday: Sunny, 72°F.
Friday: Sunny, 63°F.
