Orland Park, IL – Stellwagen Farm will host the 4th annual Civil War reenactment on Saturday, October 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This free, family-friendly event will offer guests a full day of history, live-action drills, and educational experiences.
Attendees will hear the thunder of cannon fire and witness infantry drills by reenactors portraying Civil War soldiers. According to event organizers, the schedule includes presentations by reenactors playing General Meade, General Grant, and Abraham Lincoln. Mary Todd Lincoln will also make an appearance, bringing historical figures to life for visitors.
