Orland Park, IL – The Village of Orland Park is planning significant shared-use path improvements that will enhance connectivity throughout the community. The proposed project will develop pathways through McGinnis Slough, along Wolf Road, and within the ComEd Utility Corridor. These enhancements aim to link neighborhoods on the north and west sides of the village with the existing Bikeway System, including a planned 10-foot-wide shared-use path along the east side of Wolf Road.

An open-house informational meeting on the project will be held tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Village Hall Board Room, located at 14700 S. Ravinia Ave. The session will provide residents with an opportunity to learn more about the proposed improvements and offer feedback.

According to the Village of Orland Park, these upgrades are expected to improve accessibility and provide safer, more convenient routes for cyclists and pedestrians. The new pathways will connect key community areas and promote healthier, active lifestyles among residents. Those interested in more information about the project or unable to attend the meeting can contact the Engineering Programs & Services Department at eps@orlandpark.org or (708) 403-5003.
