
Orland Park, Ill. — Yesterday, the Village of Orland Park celebrated the opening of a new Police Training and Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Facility. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held outside the building on July 7.
Present at the ribbon cutting were Mayor JIm Dodge, Village Board Members, the Orland Park Police Department, Village staff and Harbour Contractors. Mayor Dodge led the ceremony.
“It’ll prove to be a good project for Orland Park,” Dodge said at the ribbon cutting. “I don’t think you can ever stop training your law enforcement.” Dodge gave some thank yous to Village staff and members, then invited Harbour Contractors to thank their team as well.
The facility is 15,400-square-feet located at 10609 163rd Place. The facility will serve as the Village’s Emergency Operations Center. It includes a simulator room, firearms training site for live-fire training and garage doors for vehicle entrance to the building.
