Orland Park, IL Police Respond to Domestic Call, 2 Officers Injured

Orland Park, IL – Two police officers were injured during a domestic disturbance response, prompting an active investigation.

According to the Orland Park Police Department, officers responded to the 8600 block of 142nd Place on Sunday for a reported domestic disturbance. During the response, officers were confronted by an adult male, and a physical altercation allegedly occurred.

Police said two officers were injured during the incident and transported to a local hospital for treatment. One officer has since been released, while the other remains hospitalized, officials said.

The male subject involved was taken into custody at the scene. Authorities said charges are pending as the investigation continues.

Officials have not released additional details about the suspect or the circumstances leading up to the altercation. Police confirmed the case remains an active investigation.
