A controlled burn is set to take place this afternoon in the Olde Mill neighborhood of Orland Park. The fire is being managed by a contractor and will be conducted in accordance with regulations from the Illinois EPA, as well as county and municipal open burning rules.
According to the Village of Orland Park, the burn is scheduled for today, April 7th, and will be supervised by a trained field supervisor. Residents are encouraged to remain aware of the burn and stay informed by visiting the official Orland Park website for more details.
