Pendleton, OR – A cold and snowy week is ahead for eastern Oregon, with multiple chances of snow and freezing temperatures persisting through midweek. Drivers should prepare for slick roads, and residents are urged to bundle up as temperatures drop into the teens at night.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will bring a 30% chance of snow after 10 a.m., with highs reaching 37°F. Winds will remain light, but conditions could become slippery. Monday night, snow is likely again, with new accumulations under an inch and lows dipping to 21°F.

Tuesday looks even colder, with highs near 32°F and a 60% chance of snow during the day. The temperature will plummet to 15°F overnight, with a continued 30% chance of snow.

By Wednesday, another round of light snow is possible in the morning, followed by a mix of rain and snow in the afternoon. Highs will hover near freezing, with nighttime lows at 17°F.

Expect winter conditions to persist into Thursday. Residents should prepare for changing weather, allow extra time for travel, and stay updated on road conditions.
