Pendleton, OR – Eastern Oregon will see sunny and warm conditions Friday before clouds and rain arrive over the weekend. Temperatures will climb into the mid-60s Friday, making it one of the warmest days of the week before a shift in weather patterns brings a cooler, wetter trend by Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday will be sunny, with a high near 65°F and light winds shifting north by afternoon. Friday night will stay mostly clear, with a low around 33°F and calm conditions. However, by Saturday night, cloud cover increases, with a slight chance of rain developing late.

By Sunday, a 30% chance of rain is expected, mainly after 10 a.m. Temperatures will remain mild, reaching around 57°F during the day before dropping to 38°F overnight. Rain chances continue into Sunday night and Monday, bringing the possibility of wet roads and reduced visibility.

Drivers on I-84 and surrounding roadways should stay aware of changing conditions, especially by Sunday when rain chances increase. If traveling, be prepared for damp roads and allow extra time for commutes.

Looking ahead to next week, temperatures will cool slightly, with highs in the low 50s. Rain chances remain in the forecast through midweek, with partly cloudy skies expected by Tuesday.

As February ends and March begins, this pattern signals the seasonal transition, with more spring-like conditions ahead. Stay updated on changing forecasts and plan accordingly for the weekend.
