Eugene, OR – Rain showers will continue across Eugene on Thursday before a weekend warm-up brings a brief taste of spring.

According to the National Weather Service, Thursday will see partly sunny skies with a high of 52°F, offering a break from the persistent rain. However, Friday brings a slight chance of showers, and by Saturday, rain is likely to return with a high of 56°F. Overnight lows will remain in the 40s.

By Sunday, temperatures will inch higher, nearing 59°F, with cloudy skies and continued rain chances. This warming trend signals a shift as an arctic front moves out, making way for milder conditions into next week.

Motorists should remain cautious, as wet roads and occasional gusty winds may impact travel, especially along major routes like I-5. Winds on Wednesday reached up to 20 mph, but calmer conditions are expected for the weekend.

Looking ahead, early next week will continue the trend of cloudy skies and mild temperatures, with rain likely on Monday. Residents should keep rain gear handy while enjoying the brief break in precipitation on Thursday.
