Pendleton, OR – Snow showers are expected to persist over the Oregon Cascades and northern Blue Mountains through Tuesday afternoon, with a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 5 PM Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service in Pendleton, snowfall will impact elevations above 4,500 feet, with 5 to 8 inches expected in the Oregon Cascade East Slopes and 6 to 10 inches in the northern Blue Mountains.

Motorists traveling on Highways 20, 26, and Interstate 84 should expect hazardous road conditions, including reduced visibility and snow-covered roads. Travelers are advised to check forecasts, allow extra time, and follow traction requirements before heading out.
