Eugene, OR – Light to moderate rain is expected to impact Eugene and surrounding Lane County communities through Thursday night, with fluctuating chances of showers continuing over several days.

According to the National Weather Service in Portland, a 40 percent chance of rain will develop Tuesday between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., with slightly reduced chances lingering into Tuesday night. Another 40 percent chance of showers is forecast for Wednesday, primarily in the morning, before skies gradually clear.

Daytime highs in Eugene will hover in the low-to-mid 60s through Thursday, with overnight lows dropping into the mid-40s. Calm winds will persist through most of the week, occasionally reaching speeds of up to 7 mph.

Drivers are urged to prepare for slick roads and low visibility during rain showers, especially in early morning and evening hours. Outdoor plans may be disrupted, and localized travel delays are possible.

While Thursday night brings only a 20 percent chance of rain before 11 p.m., residents should remain weather-aware heading into the weekend. Friday is expected to be mostly dry and sunny, with a high near 70°F.

Residents are encouraged to monitor updates from the National Weather Service and adjust travel or outdoor schedules as needed.
