Forest Grove, OR – Authorities in Washington County are continuing to search for Thomas Weightman, 78, who was reported missing Tuesday, October 14, 2025, around 5:45 p.m. According to the Forest Grove Police Department, he was last seen by family earlier that morning near Valley Crest Way and Circle Crest Drive in Forest Grove.
Weightman is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium build, short gray hair, and a beard. He was last seen wearing a red and black checkered flannel shirt, gray t-shirt, blue jeans, black baseball cap, and glasses. Authorities believe he may be traveling on foot.
According to police, multiple agencies are assisting in the search, including the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team, with drones and K-9 units deployed in the area. Officers said the search will continue through the night, and additional updates will be released as information becomes available.
Residents in and around Forest Grove are urged to check their properties, sheds, and wooded areas for any sign of Weightman.
