Pendleton, OR – A shift in weather is coming to eastern Oregon, with rain and gusty winds expected midweek, followed by a wet weekend ahead. Residents should prepare for fluctuating conditions, including scattered showers and breezy afternoons.

According to the National Weather Service, Pendleton will see a slight chance of showers Wednesday morning, with increasing clouds and highs around 57°F. Winds will shift southeast at 7 to 14 mph, with gusts reaching 23 mph. By Wednesday night, showers are likely, with a 60% chance of rain and low temperatures near 36°F. Wind gusts could reach up to 25 mph.

Thursday brings more rain, mainly in the afternoon, with a high of 53°F and a 60% chance of precipitation. A stronger system moves in Thursday night into Friday, bringing an 80% chance of rain and highs reaching 56°F. Rain will continue Friday night before tapering off early Saturday.

Looking ahead, the five-day forecast shows continued unsettled spring weather. Saturday and Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with temperatures in the mid-50s and occasional chances of rain. Monday could see a slight warm-up, with highs nearing 69°F under partly cloudy skies.
