Medford, OR – Halloween festivities across southern Oregon and northern California are expected to stay mostly dry and mild, according to the National Weather Service in Medford, with only a slight chance of coastal rain late Friday evening.
Forecasters say a weak Pacific front will approach the Oregon coast late Friday night, bringing a 15–25% chance of showers after 9 p.m. for North Bend, Gold Beach, and Reedsport. Farther inland, including Medford, Grants Pass, and Klamath Falls, skies should remain mostly clear with little to no rain expected.
Temperatures will range from 57–62°F along the coast to the mid-40s inland by late evening, with a quick cool-down after sunset. Trick-or-treaters across the valleys and mountains can expect comfortable and dry conditions through most of the night.
Meteorologists describe the outlook as “seasonably cool” with a typical autumn chill setting in after dusk. The front is expected to bring light rain and cooler temperatures into Saturday morning, but not enough to impact Halloween evening plans.
