Medford, OR – Residents across southern Oregon can expect low clouds, fog, and a few light showers through Sunday morning, especially along the coast and west-side valleys, according to the National Weather Service in Medford.
Forecasters say a slight chance of rain will linger through early Sunday morning for areas such as Coos Bay, Roseburg, and Grants Pass, with less than a tenth of an inch expected. Conditions should begin to dry out by midday, giving way to mild afternoon highs in the mid-40s to lower 50s.
The NWS cautions that fog and low clouds could reduce visibility early in the day, particularly in the Rogue Valley and along the I-5 corridor. Drivers are advised to use low beams and allow extra travel time during the morning commute.
Temperatures will remain near seasonal norms, with overnight lows in the 30s and 40s and light winds across the region.
