Pendleton, OR – A winter weather system will bring snowfall across lower elevations in Oregon through Tuesday morning. Some areas could see up to 2 inches, with isolated locations experiencing higher amounts.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Pendleton, snowfall will primarily impact the foothills of the Oregon-Washington Blues and Wallowa Valley. The probability of at least 1 inch of snow in these areas is between 50% and 60%. Higher elevations in the Blue Mountains could receive between 2 and 6 inches.
Snow will spread northward after 10 a.m. Monday, reaching the Northern Blues later in the day. The NWS advises travelers to leave extra distance between vehicles due to potentially hazardous road conditions.
