According to the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office, 62-year-old Karen Payne was reported missing Saturday evening after being spotted near the Walmart Supercenter in Orangeburg just after 6 p.m. Sheriff Leroy Ravenell confirmed that deputies are actively searching for her.
“This lady was reported missing yesterday evening from the Walmart Supercenter area,” Ravenell said in a statement. “If anybody has seen her, please call us immediately.”
Payne is described as a white female, about 5 feet 3 inches tall, and was last seen wearing black and white scrubs. Deputies say she may still be in the Orangeburg area, but her current whereabouts remain unknown.
