Orange County, FL – A routine vehicle stop in Orange County has led to a major drug trafficking arrest, with deputies seizing large quantities of narcotics and thousands of dollars in cash, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the sheriff’s office, Sector 2 TAC deputies conducted a recent traffic stop and allegedly found 41-year-old Tana Fletcher in possession of multiple illegal drugs packaged for distribution. Deputies say the discovery was made during an investigation following the stop.

Authorities reported seizing approximately 280 grams of cocaine, 220 grams of Adderall, 110 grams of oxycodone, 100 grams of MDMA, and 60 grams of pressed fentanyl pills, along with $4,800 in cash. Investigators say the pills are believed to be counterfeit, a growing concern across Central Florida and the Orlando metro area.

Fletcher was arrested and faces several charges, including trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in cocaine with a firearm, trafficking in oxycodone, trafficking in amphetamines, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to deputies. All charges are allegations, and the case remains under investigation.

Law enforcement officials emphasized the danger posed by counterfeit pills, noting that many pills sold illegally are made to resemble prescription medications but may contain fentanyl, which can be lethal even in small amounts.

Orange County deputies urged residents to never take pills that were not prescribed by a licensed medical professional and to report suspected drug activity to authorities.

The arrest comes as law enforcement agencies across Florida continue stepped-up enforcement efforts aimed at removing fentanyl and other dangerous drugs from local communities.
