Onondaga Township, MI – A 44-year-old Eaton Rapids man died early Thursday morning following a single-vehicle crash in Ingham County, according to the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, to Kinneville Road between Edgar Road and Byrum Road in Onondaga Township after reports of a vehicle that had left the roadway.
According to the sheriff’s office, preliminary investigation shows the man was traveling westbound on Kinneville Road when he allegedly failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and strike a ditch. The driver sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Onondaga Township Fire Department, Mobile Medical Response (MMR), and the University of Michigan Survival Flight assisted at the scene.
