Oneida County, NY – A Frankfort woman was arrested for felony driving while intoxicated after a property damage crash early Sunday morning in the Village of Waterville, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a single-car accident on Buell Avenue around 2:27 a.m. on December 28, 2025. Upon arrival, they observed signs of impairment from the driver and began a DWI investigation.

Sheriff Robert Maciol said 24-year-old Aliya T. Hallam, of Frankfort, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree and driving while intoxicated with a prior conviction within the past 10 years, both felonies. Several additional traffic violations and misdemeanors were also reported.

Hallam was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing and later released on her own recognizance following arraignment in CAP Court. The New York State Police assisted deputies at the scene.
