Paris, NY – Deputies with the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Thursday afternoon after a traffic stop revealed his driver’s license had been suspended 42 times, according to Sheriff Robert Maciol.

The incident occurred around 1:26 p.m. on November 26, 2025, when Waterville Field Office deputies pulled over a vehicle in the Town of Paris. According to the sheriff’s report, the driver, identified as Tyler Redmond of Paris, NY, was found to be operating with a suspended license covering 14 different dates.

Authorities say Redmond was taken into custody and transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building, where he was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, a Class E felony under New York law.

Redmond was later booked into the Oneida County Correctional Facility pending arraignment and issued multiple uniform traffic tickets for the Town of Paris, officials added.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office did not report any additional charges or injuries related to the stop.
