Lee, NY – Deputies are investigating a single-car crash that caused injuries and forced a major road closure Sunday in Oneida County, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Robert Maciol said deputies responded to Steadman Road in the Town of Lee for a report of a personal injury crash involving one vehicle. The incident prompted a full road closure as emergency crews responded to the scene.
As of Sunday evening, Steadman Road is closed between Lee Center Taberg Road and Streun Road, and drivers are urged to avoid the area until further notice. Authorities have not released details about the number of people injured or the cause of the crash.
Deputies remain on scene conducting their investigation, and additional updates are expected once more information becomes available.
