Omaha, NE – A warm Friday will kick off the weekend in Omaha, but expect cooler temperatures and possible showers by Sunday and Columbus Day. Today will be sunny with a high near 86 degrees, with light east-southeast winds becoming south at 10 mph, gusting up to 18 mph.

Tonight’s forecast remains mostly clear, with a low near 61 degrees and south winds between 6 and 8 mph.

Friday will stay sunny and warm, reaching highs around 86 degrees. Winds will shift, coming from the south in the morning before becoming west at 6 mph. Friday night will bring partly cloudy skies with lows around 55 degrees and northeast winds at 6 to 8 mph.

By Saturday, expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 78 degrees. Light northeast winds of 8 mph will bring a pleasant start to the weekend. Saturday night will be mostly clear with a low near 51 degrees, and southeast winds gusting up to 23 mph.

Sunday will see cooler conditions, with a high near 66 degrees, as north-northwest winds increase to 14 mph. There’s a chance of showers Sunday night, with lows dropping to around 40 degrees.

As Columbus Day approaches, the forecast includes mostly sunny skies with a high near 61 degrees, although showers may linger from Sunday. Cooler nights, with lows around 37 degrees, are expected into early next week.
