According to the National Weather Service in Omaha, scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue overnight, with chances of locally heavy rain reaching up to 60 percent. Lingering showers are possible Tuesday morning before conditions gradually improve through the afternoon.
By midweek, skies turn mostly clear with highs in the low 80s Wednesday and upper 80s Thursday. Warmer air builds into Friday, pushing highs near 90 degrees across much of eastern Nebraska. Light rain chances—between 15 and 30 percent—may return at times, though the overall pattern favors dry, sunny afternoons.
