Tulsa, OK – Light rain will spread across southeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas today and persist through Sunday evening, bringing cooler weather. Localized rainfall totals are expected to stay under half an inch, but slippery roads are possible during evening hours.

According to the National Weather Service, the highest rain chances—up to 90%—will center on McAlester and Hugo. Tulsa should see lower rain probabilities around 20%, with conditions clearing by late Sunday night. Temperatures will drop into the mid-40s overnight, with mild highs near 60°F expected during the day.

The five-day outlook includes partly sunny skies on Monday, followed by much cooler temperatures midweek. By Tuesday, daytime highs will struggle to reach the upper 40s, with overnight lows dipping into the low 30s. Snow chances may return by Thursday night into Friday as a colder weather system approaches the region.

Drivers traveling along U.S. 69 or I-40 should plan for wet roads today and tonight. Residents are urged to monitor updates for potential weather shifts and prepare for icy patches later in the week.

Stay tuned for additional updates, and plan accordingly for changing road and weather conditions.
