According to the National Weather Service in Tulsa, dry and sunny conditions dominate today with northeast winds between 5 and 10 mph. Clouds increase Thursday night, and a 20 percent chance of showers develops after midnight. Highs Thursday reach 68, well above seasonal norms.
The warming trend peaks Friday with highs near 64 and increasing rain chances. A 30 percent chance of showers develops during the day, then rain becomes likely Friday night as a cold front approaches. Precipitation chances climb to 70 percent.
Saturday turns wetter. Showers are expected much of the day with an 80 percent chance of rain and highs near 60. Rainfall totals between 1 and 3 inches are possible across parts of eastern Oklahoma. Localized ponding may develop on I-44, U.S. 75, and low-lying streets.

Early next week trends even warmer, with upper 60s to low 70s possible by Washington’s Birthday and into Tuesday. Longer-range signals show temperatures running 10 to 20 degrees above average late next week.
