Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa area will see a mix of warm temperatures, high winds, and increasing thunderstorm potential this week, with fire danger persisting in some regions. Residents should prepare for gusty conditions and possible storms as the forecast unfolds.

According to the National Weather Service, strong winds up to 30 mph and low humidity will elevate fire danger in areas north and west of Tulsa, particularly through Wednesday. By Wednesday night, increasing cloud cover and wind gusts as high as 20 mph will signal a shift in the weather pattern, leading to a chance of isolated thunderstorms in southeast Oklahoma and western Arkansas.

Thursday is expected to bring mostly sunny skies with a high near 81°F, but another round of high winds will keep fire concerns elevated. By Friday, storm chances increase, especially for areas along and east of Highway 69, where some severe weather may develop.

Looking ahead, the weekend will bring a temperature drop, with highs in the mid-60s on Saturday and upper 60s by Sunday. Winds will gradually decrease, providing some relief from the blustery conditions.

Residents should stay updated on changing conditions and use caution with outdoor activities, especially in fire-prone areas. For real-time updates, visit weather.gov.
