The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued an Excessive Heat Watch for Friday, forecasting temperatures up to 111°F. This intense heat will pose significant health risks, especially for vulnerable populations.
The forecast for the region includes high temperatures reaching 97°F on Friday and 98°F on Saturday. A slight respite is expected on Sunday, with temperatures dropping to 89°F and a 50% chance of rain providing brief relief. However, the heat intensifies again at the beginning of next week. Monday’s high will be 95°F, followed by a scorching 101°F on Tuesday, and 95°F on Wednesday.
