Tulsa, OK – Dangerous heat will intensify across eastern Oklahoma through the end of the week, with temperatures nearing 100°F by Friday and heat index values topping 105°F in the Tulsa metro. Residents should brace for prolonged heat impacts and limited overnight relief through at least Sunday morning.

According to the National Weather Service in Tulsa, Tuesday will bring a high near 91°F, but heat risks sharply increase by Wednesday as daytime highs climb to 94°F and “feels-like” temps reach triple digits. South winds between 10–20 mph, gusting higher at times, will persist through the week but offer little cooling effect.

Tuesday: Sunny and warm, high near 91°F. Light winds shifting southeast in the afternoon.
Wednesday: High of 94°F with heat index values around 100°F. South wind 5–10 mph.
Thursday: High of 95°F, heat index near 102°F. Gusts up to 20 mph.
Friday: Peak heat with a high of 98°F and oppressive humidity. Limit outdoor activity.
Saturday: Slight dip to 96°F but still dangerously hot. No rain expected.

No rain or significant cloud cover is expected until late Sunday, when a 20% chance of storms could break the heat briefly. Until then, limit time outdoors, stay hydrated, and check on vulnerable neighbors or pets. Additional heat advisories may be issued if current conditions persist.
