Tulsa, OK – A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 6 a.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday across northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas, with heavy snowfall, ice, and near-blizzard conditions expected.

According to the National Weather Service in Tulsa, the storm will bring 4 to 12 inches of snow, with areas near the Oklahoma-Kansas border seeing the highest totals. A light glaze of ice is also possible early Tuesday, creating slick conditions. Strong north winds will contribute to blowing snow, reducing visibility and making travel dangerous.

Cities under the warning include Tulsa, Fayetteville, Bentonville, Rogers, Claremore, and Bartlesville. The Tuesday morning and evening commutes are expected to be significantly impacted, with hazardous road conditions persisting through Wednesday morning.
