Tulsa, OK – A deep freeze is set to grip portions of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas as an Extreme Cold Warning takes effect from 6 p.m. Tuesday until noon Thursday, according to the NWS in Tulsa.
Wind chills could drop as low as -17°F, affecting Tulsa, Muskogee, Bentonville, and Fayetteville. The cold presents a risk of hypothermia and frostbite for anyone exposed without proper protection.
