Winds may gust up to 40 mph, with isolated areas seeing over a quarter-inch of rain per hour. Spotter activation is not expected yet but may be needed if storm severity increases.

Cities in the threat zone include Columbus, Delaware, London, and Springfield. Areas along U.S. Route 33 and I-70 may experience ponding, reduced visibility, and delays during the Monday evening rush. Residents should secure outdoor items and avoid low-lying areas during heavy rainfall.

By Tuesday, showers could linger until midday before skies clear and summer warmth returns. Highs remain near 86°F with only a 30% chance of additional precipitation. Sunshine dominates the back half of the week with steadily warming temperatures ahead of the holiday.
